The Wyandot County Sheriff in Ohio said Ohio teens were arrested on Saturday in West Virginia after what officials say was a three-state crime spree that concluded after the teenagers a stolen vehicle and led police on a foot chase.
In a statement released, it’s noted Triston Kindle, 16, of Upper Sandusky and 15-year-old Rose May of Sycamore, both communities in northern Ohio, were arrested by the West Virginia State Police.
The teens, from the communities of Upper Sandusky and Sycamore in northwest Ohio, had been reported missing Monday. But earlier this week, the two escaped from Ohio in a stolen pickup truck after allegedly stealing shotgun shells from a Wal-Mart in Bucyrus.
West Virginia and Pennsylvania state police have a collaborative investigation on a series of crimes that may be connected to the brazen juveniles, including car theft, armed robbery and fleeing from police.
Their parents are traveling to meet with police in New Martinsville, West Virginia.
