Scarface, is a legendary Hip-Hop emcee, music producer, and author. He hails from Houston, Texas and is a member of the Geto Boys. He is originally from the city’s South Acres (Crestmont Parl) neighborhood. In 2012, The Source ranked him #16 on their list of the Top 50 Lyricists of All Time, while About.com ranked him #10 on its list of the 50 Greatest MCs of Our Time (1987-2007). Scarface will be performing at Red Hook Park on June 2, 2015. The cost is free and the show starts at 7 p.m.
Plus, Hot 97 will host a free show on June 3, 2015, with special guest Troy Ave. The show will take place on June 3, 2015, at Red Hook Park. He has released four mixtapes, which he sold over 70,000 copies from his trunk. In November 2013, he released his first studio album,’ New York City: The Album’, which debuted at number 47 on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. In 2014, he was part of the 2014 XXL Freshmen Class.
