Comparing yourself to an extremely deadly storm that caused millions of dollars of property damage and posting that on instagram when you’re an NFL starting quarterback may not be the best idea. Colin Kaepernick seemed to forget that rule and made that mistake today when he compared himself to the horrific storm that hit Houston today.
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick loves using the “7torms” hashtag on twitter, referring to the number 7 being his jersey number.
Kaepernick may have taken it a bit too far today, when posted a picture on instagram of the storm that caused an extreme amount of damage to the city of Houston and posted the caption “Iwarned you the #7tormscoming!!! #Houston
Kaepernick took a huge backlash from his followers about being insensitive to the situation that caused many people to have their homes destroyed.
Kaepernick later deleted the post and apologized on twitter.
