ESPN along with the NBA on ABC have definitely stepped up their music game the past few years. What the studio crew lacks in entertainment, the music between segments is enough to make you nod your head and forget about it. Last year ESPN used Mobb Deep’s “Survival of the fittest” record off the classic “The Infamous” album to promote their playoff baseball coverage and it was such a hit that this time they had the duo actually remix the song exclusively to be used during the network’s coverage of the Western Conference finals.
