“Me and Wayne did a whole lot of shit together,” Turk says. “We used to write out raps. I’d go down to the gym, be working out, ducking off on him…he didn’t know what I was doing. I’d come back up sweating like a motherfucker, I’d been full of that pot. We’d put that shit together. He’d be in the room writing and we coordinated. When it’s time to go to studio, we used always try to outshine the older ones, who were B.G. and Juvie. They never really did too many back-to-back songs how me and Wayne did, so that was kinda like the way how we made a name for ourselves.”

Turk also got into detail first by praising his former label mate B.G, saying that he kept Cash Money relevant when UNLV broke up. According to Turk B.G was the glue of Cash Money. Even though B.G dropped his album ‘It’s All On U’ Volumes I and II back in 1997, Turk says there was a other project that dropped in later years that was more impactful.
Turk said :
“B.G. used to grind,” Turk says. “B.G. had actually dropped an album called Chopper City. B.G. was holding Cash Money down when UNLV had departed. UNLV was Cash Money’s hottest artist, group. Back in the day it was UNLV. When they situation happened and the group broke up, B.G. held it down same way how Wayne held it down when Hot Boy$ broke up. Kinda like history repeating itself. It was all cool, man. Everybody still wanted to be a part of Cash Money because we was all young. We didn’t know what was going on. We had seen Baby with the 32 (karat) gold, at the time, he had 32 (karat) gold in his mouth, the Lexuses and the Benzes. You in the project, you seein all this shit, it’s like, ‘Goddamn I can be a part of that?'”
