Chicago Unites … Chance, the Rapper has always been actively involved in community activities in Chicago. His latest outreach event was another open mike – it is not the first – for high school students, held at the University of Chicago. The open mike held earlier this week was more than a success with the help and a surprise performance from fellow Chicago natives Dr. Kanye West and Vic Mensa.

The students of Reva & David Logan Center for the Arts sang along as Dr. West and Mr. Mensa performed “U Mad” and “All Day“. “This is a moment. thank you Vic. Thank you Dr. West. Thank you Mike,” Chance mentioned on Instagram.
