The DeflateGate investigation is over and the New England Patriots were given a hefty punishment by the NFL. Their 2016 1st round draft pick and 2017 4th round draft pick were both taken, the team was given a $1 million fine and quarterback Tom Brady is suspended for the first four games. Many New York Jets fans are happy to see the sanctions against their division rival and some decided to celebrate by putting up special billboards.
According to the New York Daily News, twelve billboards that refer to the disgraced quarterback as “#TomShady” went up all over Jersey Tuesday morning. The signs also feature the famous “J-E-T-S Jets! Jets! Jets!” rallying cry.
The 12 billboards can be found throughout the Garden State at these locations: I-95 (NJ Turnpike) near exit 15E in Newark; I-95 (NJ Turnpike) near exit 16 in Newark; I-95 (NJ Turnpike) south of exit 13A in Newark; Lincoln Tunnel Helix at the toll plaza; I-78 in Newark at exit 56; I-78 in Newark at Toll Plaza at Route 1&9; Route 9 in Old Bridge, just north of Route 516; I-80 at Garden State Parkway; Garden State Parkway at Driscoll Bridge Toll Plaza (both sides); SR-72 near Route 9 in Manahawkin and Route 35 at Shark River Bridge in Avon by the Sea.
