Earlier this year, Hip hop lost a true King, Asap Yams. Asap Rocky is making Yams live on by honoring Yams on his latest project. Asap’s newest album will be entitled A.L.L.A and be decorated with Yam’s reflection on its anterior.

Asap Yams sadly passed away after an overdose of cough syrup. A.L.L.A will show Asap Rocky’s face and will have Yam’s face infused into his. Asap Rocky will even have Yam’s famous birthmark on his face. The lyricist has not really taken Yam’s death very easily. That was Asap’s buddy and fellow talent wordsmith. Asap even told New York Times about Yam’s very private struggle with drugs. Asap went on to tell New York Times that Asap Yams always struggled with drugs and he even tried to hide it. Asap Rocky being real close to Yams eventually found out his secret.

On the tragic night of Yams passing, Asap took it really hard. Asap Yams was found in his apartment. A.L.L.A is expected to drop June 2. Asap Yams creativity and lyricism will be embraced in A.L.L.A. It’s exciting to know that Yams will live on through rap mates and creative future works. Asap Yams will be missed. ASAP Yams lives on!
