I was expecting this to be pretty gruesome but it ended up being really cool and apparently painless.  Retired U.S. Olympic athlete Bryan Clay — who took gold in the decathlon in 2008 — helped his daughter Ellie remove a loose tooth by tying it to a javelin!

Clay launches the javelin, tooth goes flying out of Ellie’s mouth then, blood as is normal.

Ellie took it like a champ.  Not only did she not cry, but she simply just asked for a glass of water to wash out her mouth.
