Love and Hip-Hop: New York couple, Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris are getting themselves primped and primed for their VH1 on-air wedding special. With the May 25th wedding day rapidly approaching, the ‘hold-my-man-down’ woman celebrates with a bridal shower of cake, cake, cake, friends and family. As always, Yandy looks good and doing so with a smile on her face.

As viewers, we watched Monday-night ratchet television faithfully; and during that time we’ve all grown to known and love Mendeecees [and Yandy]. Sad to say, he’s still facing jail time. Mendeecees, who is out of jail on a $600,000 bail, has recently plead guilty to drug trafficking charges. An upcoming sentence hearing will let us know if he will do eight to ten years and/or pay a fine ranging from $15,000 to $5 million. I sure do hope that he can work something out for the sake of his family.
