Baltimore police began arresting protesters citywide for being out the streets past the 10PM curfew. Most of the protesters have complied with the curfew but those who have not are being met with police action. Watch the video after the jump.
Baltimore police sent out a tweet saying that protesters that still occupied the War Memorial Plaza were “in violation of the curfew,” and had been warned that police were arresting anyone who refused to vacate the area.
About a hundred people were dancing and chanting ‘Freddie’ near the areas of Pennsylvania and North avenues. They were warned via helicopter as the curfew approached that they were subject to arrest. The protesters were celebrating the charges brought up against the six police officers connected to the death of Freddie Gray.
