The presidential term of Barrack Obama is waning and as you can imagine, his first act as former President of the United States of America will be drinking from a coconut while resting under the sun.

But, he recently said that he may return to his roots (pun intended). President Obama states, “I’ll be done being president in a couple of years and I’ll still be a pretty young man. And so I’ll go back to doing the kinds of work I was doing before, just trying to find ways to help people….That’s the kind of work that I really love to do”, after one child inquired about what inspired him to seek presidency. Speaking to a group of kids in Washington, D.C., the president said he wants to focus on economic opportunity and education in dilapidated neighborhoods throughout America. This will be interesting if Obama goes back to community organizing.

The shot caller made these remarks as his administration tackles the civil unrest in Baltimore, Maryland. A side note, there’s not a single fortune 500 company today headquartered in Baltimore.

“If our society really wanted to solve the problem, we could,” he said at an April 28 news conference. “It’s just it would require everybody saying this is important, this is significant, and that we don’t just pay attention to these communities when a CVS burns.”

If you remember, President Obama worked on Chicago’s South Side as a community organizer. So, let’s see if he goes back to community organizing.
