Alfonso Ribeiro and his wife Angela Unkrich have just welcomed a baby boy, today (April 30) at Cedars-Sinai hospital in L.A.! Details after the jump!
The couple named the newborn baby boy Anders Reyn and he weighed in at 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and measured 19 inches long.“Momma and baby are doing great, the entire family thanks you for your warm wishes on this special day!!” Alfonso told Us Weekly. Alfonso and Angela have an 18 month old son together named Alfonso Jr. Alfonso also has a daughter Sienna from a previous marriage.
Ribeiro best known for his role as Carlton Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air announced his wife’s pregnancy back in October. During an episode of Dancing With the Stars, where he was a contestant, he said:
“My son, it’s his first birthday today, so I’m so happy that he’s here with me. As a wonderful present, my wife and I decided to get him a little brother or sister. We’re having a baby!”
Ribeiro got his start in the Broadway musical “The Tap Dance Kid” in the starring role. He then went on to do Pepsi commercials with Michael Jackson and a staring role on the long running Tv sitcom Silver spoons.
