Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is officially reinstated back into the league but it’s already been made clear that he does not want to remain with the team. The Vikings aren’t keen on trading him and would require a lot in return if they did decide to make the move. There is mutual interest between Peterson and the Dallas Cowboys and it isn’t shy about letting it be known.
Adrian Peterson took in Tuesday night’s Dallas Mavericks-Houston Rockets playoff game. And with two Texas teams squaring off and media in attendance, the subject of Peterson playing in Dallas came up.
According to Mike Leslie of WFAA-TV, Peterson said that being in Dallas “would be nice.”
Said Peterson, according to Leslie: “I’ve got family here, my dad’s here. But I’m under contract, so we’ll see.”
Peterson grew up in Palestine, Texas, which is about 120 miles southeast of Dallas.
Unfortunately for Peterson, reports state the Cowboys and Vikings aren’t engaging in trade talks at the moment.
