The biracial twins Lucy and Maria were introduced to the public by World Wide Features who photographed the duo unknowingly finding a fascinating set of beauties who would soon after capture the attention of many! Their father is caucasian and their mother is half-jamacian, creating the twins physical appearance to be shockingly different. Maria has dark complexion and hair while Lucy has red hair and fair skin.
Armytage interviewed the twins back in March and her introduction was anything but friendly…
“The Aylmer twins come from a mixed-race family in the U.K., Maria has taken after her half-jamacian mum with dark skin, brown eyes and curly dark hair, but Lucy got her dad’s fair skin, good on her! Along with straight red hair and blue eyes.”
The host faced immediate back lash with accusations of being racist and was slapped with a petition to apologize for the comment.
This week Armytage came fourth with a public apology after months of scrutiny.
“I would be mortified if anyone thought I would say or think anything racist. It’s not in my nature. To anyone who I might have offended, I’m sorry.”
