A young 17 year old teenager from Connecticut put a Hartford police officer in a headlock until he almost passed out. Check out the photos in the gallery, a video of the teen putting the police officer in a headlock and read more on the story after the jump!
The teenager from Weaver High School was seen on cell phone camera footage, putting his arms around Officer Roberto Maldonado’s neck as the two shuffle around on the ground after Maldonado pulled the teen out of the Burger King. Deputy Chief Brian Foley told NBC Connecticut, “At some point, he’s being choked out… and starts to lose consciousness.” He held him in the headlock for almost 20 seconds. Maldonado called for help and sprayed the suspect with pepper spray. The teen was charged with assaulting an officer and inciting a riot. Maldonado is still recovering from the fight.
