Though Young Thug touted the controversial Barter 6 as just a mixtape, it was still made for sale on iTunes like Drake’s If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late – but unlike Drake, Thugger’s did not sell very well.
After one week, Barter 6 debuts at a measly 26 on the Billboard 200, with just under 19,000 sold. In comparison, last week’s other semi-surprise release – Tyler, The Creator’s Cherry Bomb – sold 58k and debuted at number 4. Hopefully Thugger’s official debut fares a little better.
