Some may say this has been John Wall’s breakout season, well now John Wall Breaks Records. He has averaged 17 points and 10 assists, despite an end of the season decline, the Wizards find themselves in a pretty good position; heading back to D.C. up 2-0 in this best of seven series against Toronto.

Last night’s game solidified Wall as an elite point guard in the NBA; scoring 25 points and 17 assists Wall finds his name among the likes of Russell Westbrook and Chris Paul for 25+ points and 15+ assist stats in a playoff game. Wall also set a franchise record for most assists in a single playoff game; causing one to think the Wizards may have turned their season around. In a post-game interview from last night, Wall stated that “All we can do is be aggressive, play the game we know how to play the right way and trust our teammates. Those guys believe in our confidence and believe in our ability to score the ball and find our teammates.” Although most analysts picked the Raptors to defeat the Wizards, the chances of that happening seems to be unlikely.
