Its good to be the queen. Yesterday Beyonce posted a few pictures to her website and she was wearing something no one has ever seen before. She was wearing a gold Apple Watch with a gold link band. Now for those who don’t know Apple has its watches available in an 18 karat gold case starting from $10,000-$17,000. Now I remind you that is the price just for the watch in a gold case with a leather watch band with 18 karat gold clasps and buckles. The version Beyonce is wearing has the watch in a gold case as well as a real gold link watch band. Apple has not released any information or pricing about an Apple Watch with a gold link watch band.
So far Beyonce and world renowned designer Karl Lagerfeld are the only people in the world to show off their one of a kind accessories. Apple has not released any information on their watches being available with any type of metallic bands so it is safe to say that these celebrities new watches cost far beyond the $17,000 price point for the most expensive watch on the website. However it should be known that these two instances show Apple does not plan on making the gold link watch band available for anyone no matter your status or net worth. Sorry TatWza I dont think you will be getting one. It seems like more of a publicity stunt to get people talking about their highly coveted new wearable which will likely be shipped out on April 24th to those who pre-ordered it. So for now it doesn’t seem like the gold link band Apple Watch will be available for purchase by anyone. For now Beyonce and Karl Lagerfeld are the only people on Earth with this extremely rare piece of wearable tech.
