Fresh off the release of “The Iron Way” project, T-Pain Releasing A Documentary Later This Month thanks also to the folks at World Star. It had been awhile since the homegrown talent morphed into super-stardom and faded out of the spotlight in recent years. Despite working with nearly every big name in the business as a featured artist if not also producer, the focus on his craft is again strong, not clouded by fame or his “time off.” Since we all know at least a couple of T-Pain songs from his massive list of hits, on top of the fact that he can actually sing (did you see that auto-tuneless clip?), not to mention having great taste in vocals and sound–any look at his creative process is a treat.
XXL reports that T-Pain Releasing A Documentary Later This Month entitled “Bigger Than Pain” is definitely a prelude to his fifth upcoming studio album:
“With The Iron Way being warmly received by both critics and fans, anticipation is at an all-time high for Pain’s fifth solo album (and first in four years). Called Stoicville: The Phoenix, the record is expected in September of this year. As he’s said since he burst back into the national consciousness, T-Pain is forgoing the chart-chasing game, focusing instead on the music he wants to make, regardless of the commercial implications.”
