The twists in this story just keep coming. Rapper The Game was caught on tape punching an opposing player during a Pro-Am game claiming the player struck first and threatened to get his gun. It was later revealed that the player was an off-duty LAPD officer. Both Game and the officer are under investigation. Now the officer is hitting The Game with a lawsuit, claiming the punch screwed up his brain.
According to a lawsuit filed Monday and obtained by TMZ Sports, Onyebuchi Awaji — an off-duty rookie cop — claims he did nothing to instigate the March 29th fight with Game.
Awaji claims Game nailed him with a sucker punch that may have caused brain damage.
Not only did Awaji claim Game sucker punched him, he says Game fled the scene as soon as he heard cops were called.
The brain damage bit is probably bogus, as a cop I’m sure he’s gotten worse but when you’re a rich celebrity and you hit someone you can always expect a lawsuit to follow.
The Game now has two lawsuits against him for fighting; the other was filed by 40 Glocc who claims The Game jumped him with his friends and security officers.
Clearly The Game got Mike Tyson tatted on his right fist for a reason.
