Could be me, but it seems as if the more the #BlackLivesRock campaign is uplifted, the more racists and racial profiling come to the light. Over the weekend, a University of South Carolina student’s Snapchat photo went viral. Why? The student decided to list her “reasons why USC WiFi blows.” At the top of the list, and I do mean number one, is the n-word … spelled out.

The student, who remains unidentified, writes that not only are n*ggers the reason for her Internet connection problems, but she also lists “incompetent professors, ratchets, overpopulated campus and parking.” Makes you want to just slap a bi…

USC’s president, Harris Pastides has since released a statement acknowledging the now suspended student’s actions. “Today, the unfortunate and disappointing act of a student in a study room has challenged the Carolina community to reflect on our values and tell the world what we believe.” To be honest, this wench didn’t exclude anyone. They better just expel her a**.

More on President Pastides’ statement.

Statement from President Harris Pastides – Reaffirming Our Values

“…Respect for all is at the heart of the Carolinian Creed, the code by which we agree to abide. Racist and uncivil rhetoric have no place at the University of South Carolina.

We have taken appropriate actions to suspend a student and begin code of conduct investigations. The Board of Trustees has endorsed this prompt course of action.

Let us now come together as a university community to reaffirm our commitment to each other as a Gamecock family.”

This is not the first time a university was put on blast for their students’ racial behavior. If you could go back just a few short weeks when the University of Oklahoma’s Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity was caught on film chanting, “There will never be a n*gger at SAE!” Terrible. Aside from that, this is not the first time the students of USC have been put on blast. Back in February, there were reports of shots fired on their campus. Hummm … and they have the nerve to have racists students.
