Ad-Rock might be apart of one of the most iconic rap groups of all time, but the former Beastie Boy rapper is actually a regular middle-aged dude with real-life experience. Adam “Ad-Rock Horovitz appeared on the latest installment of Rookie’s “Ask A Grown Man” to speak out and give us some quality romance advice. In the series, people ask random questions about love, life and the dating scene.
Adam said:
“I know that when I get down or feel alone or depressed, I make music and it makes me happy,” he said. “I would say, think about the thing that makes you happiest and do that. If it’s drawing or dancing or listening to music or bowling, whatever it is that makes you happy, I would focus on that and you’ll definitely gain some confidence from that particular thing. Comfort, for sure.”
