Making its moves to break the box office “Get Hard” has already been stirring up controversy. But while this Atlanta rapper-mogul explains why the “racism” and “stereotype” drama is #petty, his “worldly” experience counts for something and TI Says Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell Could Actually Make It In Prison!
We’ve been witnessing an onslaught of promo for the latest comedy out in theaters “Get Hard,” turned up* a few notches since the drop of the restricted trailer and the infamously hilarious Jimmy Fallon lip-sync battle last month. But in a recent interview TI Says Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell Could Actually Make It In Prison and reflects on all the haters, critics and “Debbie-downers” out there.
Last week we saw Shad Moss aka Bow Wow commenting on his non-involvement with FOX’s Empire because it perpetuated black stereotypes. Well Tip has a comment on those saying the same about “Get Hard,” but also TI Says Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell Could Actually Make It In Prison which is partly why the accusations are a #fail. And take it from him, he would know…telling Global Grind TV’s Blogxilla:
“I’ve been there and I’ve seen the most unlikely individuals make it through…I’ve seen so many different walks of life but what I’ve noticed is the ones who can make light of dark situations, and maintain a certain level of entertainment for everyone else, those are the ones who make it like [makes sailing hand motion]…”
“Nobody’s gonna break a stereotype. Stereotypes come from a lack of information due to a lack of experience and a lack of diversity. There will always be people in certain areas who have no idea how people in other areas live like…at what point does it become a stereotype and not become a depiction of the truth?”
“…Stop figuring out ways why you shouldn’t enjoy it and just enjoy it.”
…that’s #RealTalk! He goes on to call out individuals whether “black people, rich white people, gays and ex-cons” who may feel rubbed the wrong way need to let it go. Do you agree with how TI Says Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell Could Actually Make It In Prison and that stereotypes “can’t be broken?” Is there always some truth to them? Have you seen “Get Hard” yet???
