World Champion boxer and daughter of Muhammad Ali, Laila Ali was asked if she think she can beat UFC champion Ronda Rousey. Ali now infamously replied that she could and that “no woman alive” can beat her. Many people thought she was insane because she may be a great boxer but Rousey would absolutely destroy her in MMA. So what about boxing? Well Rousey says she can beat her there too, she just needs to train.
Ronda Rousey says she can beat Laila Ali in a boxing match and she’s very confident about it, telling TMZ Sports she just needs some time to learn the ropes.
Ronda was out in NYC Monday when they asked how she felt about the undefeated former boxing champ’s recent call-out. Rousey said she wasn’t mad at Ali for feeling that way, and that’s how Laila is supposed to think.
Rousey clearly has the mind of a championship athlete; confident, understanding the mindset of others and also aware of what needs to be done in order to achieve a goal.
