Killer Mike Was Attacked On Stage At SXSW , Suffers From Minor Injuries

A Man ran up on stage to seemingly confront El-P during a song performance , Killer Mike Got involved when he say the man confront El-P and at that point the man appeared to fight everyone back until a security guard knocked him out cold.

That security guard hit him with that Mike Tyson round 1 knockout punch.

After the strange SXSW scuffle between Run The Jewels and some guy who rushed the stage and attacked them, Killer Mike revealed that he flew back to Atlanta to see his doctor.

RTJ returned to Austin for Stubb BBQ to perform again, and when it came to “Banana Clipper ” (the song that the group was performing as the man attacked them), El-P addressed the incident.

El-P said

“Last time we did this song, it was interrupted. Let’s not let that happen again.” “If you interrupt this song we’ll beat the fuck out of you,”

Killer Mike said he flew home to Atlanta for medical attention after the attack. The Doctor diagnosed him with a Torn Rotator cuff. Despite his Doctor’s suggestion , and tot he great appreciation of the crowd. Killer Mike refused to use a sling.

Killer Mike Said : “I was like, doctor, I’m not leaving the road – the tour goes on!”
