It’s like having a baby – for those who have experienced the miracle. Well, that’s what Sevyn Streeter compares the release of her album to. “The album is like my baby that I’ve been holding for nine months and I’m ready to just release it to the world,” she tells Rap-Up TV. After surprising us with the album title, Sevyn goes into detail on what to expect from the drop.

On The Verge will not only have the guy voice of Chris Brown – who appears on the album’s single, “Don’t Kill The Fun” – but August Alsina and Ty Dolla $ign plan on dropping some tunes. Ty collaborated with the singer/songwriter “Fallen,” which a video was recently shot for. “It’s kinda trippy, kinda vibey. We did a play on a classic song. Ty killed his part, Cam [Wallace – producer] killed his part. I love the sounds,” she explains.
“We experimented with a lot of different sounds and fused together a lot of different genres,” explained Sevyn. “You’ll hear a lot of that on the album. Come get lost in my world basically, ’cause me and my mind, musically we’re kinda like all over the place. That’s the vibe of the album.”
Sounds dope. Will B.O.B. make an appearance? That would be hotness.
