On Wednesday before their major joint press conference, Manny Pacquiao stopped by ESPN’s His & Hers via satellite to discuss his highly-anticipated fight with Floyd Mayweather on May 2nd. The conversation however switched gears from boxing to MMA, particularly the UFC star Ronda Rousey.
Ronda Rousey, has been vocal about wanting tickets to the fight and the fact that she’s rooting for Pacquiao. In fact, Rousey says she too can beat Floyd Mayweather. Pacquaio gave her props in return and agreed.
“Do you think she could beat Floyd in MMA?” co-host Jemele Hill asked.
“I believe so. She’s strong, and she’s strong enough to beat Floyd Mayweather in MMA,” Pacquiao replied.
Between NFL players, Laila Ali and Floyd Mayweather, Rousey sure has a lot of huge opponents.
