I’m really feeling for Iggy Azalea. It seems like this girl truly can not handle fame and all that comes with it! She lashes out at paparazzi, shuts down her Twitter account over mean comments and deletes her Instagram for the same reasons – all things that unfortunately, come with the territory of being a celebrity! In her defense, she does get an obnoxiously large amount of hate – more than most celebs – but so does Karrueche and Amber for example, and they’re dealing just fine!
For her latest stunt, the “Fancy” rapper has pushed back her first-ever arena tour, The Great Escape tour, by a whopping 5 months. As a result, opening acts Tinashe and Nick Jonas have both been forced to drop out because of scheduling conflicts.

A move like this can be costly, especially considering that we’re only a month away from its intended start date. Chris Brown revealed in his recent interview with Ebro In The Morning on Hot 97 that it cost him MILLIONS when he was forced to postpone the start of his Between The Sheets tour last month, so I imagine that this may be hitting Iggy‘s pockets as well.
An arena tour for an artist with only one album out is pretty ambitious, but some reports say that poor ticket sales are not the issue. The press release from her label reads:
“To accommodate for creative team availability and tour productions, it was determined that the tour will not be ready this spring.”
Hmm, what does that actually mean though?! I guess time will tell! For now, check out the rescheduled dates below. Unfortunately, the Sacramento, Baltimore and Las Vegas dates were unable to be rescheduled, and fans will be receiving a full refund.
