I hate writing anything that remotely has to do with making it seem like there is a problem between Kevin Durant & Russell Westbrook because the media has tried to do that for years. We all know these guys are good friends & support each other, but KD has to realize when he tweets, things can be taken a totally different way. Earlier this week, a fan on KD’s timeline was trashing Russell because he was a huge Durant fan and didn’t like the sudden hype Russ was getting.

Now KD could have used to the opportunity to not say anything at all, or if he was going to reply he could have defended Russ. Instead he chose to focus on the hype itself and say “it is at an all time high”.
Now that can be looked at two ways. One is that KD is showing love by meaning the hype is well deserved. It can also be looked at as if he was trying to downplay what Russ was doing and just referring to it as “hype”. I strongly believe it would be the first reason, but KD made it seem suspect when he deleted the tweet. If it was meant in a good way then why delete? Could also be because KD knows his words will be taken out of context and just rather not deal with it.
I will leave that up to you guys. Make sure to check the gallery!
