Wow. The thieves Who stole Lupita’s dress apparently returned it because they said the pearls were fake. According to TMZ reports the thieves stated the dress was worthless and fake. This sounds so suspicious to me where did the thieves drop the dress off?How did they communicate there dissatisfaction with the dress? Did they leave a note? this definitely sounds like an inside Job. I guess beggars can be chooser.

During the 87th Academy Awards, Lupita wore a stunning white Calvin Klein gown embroidered with 6,000 Akoya pearls. The $150,000 piece of art was stolen from Lupita’s London West Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles. A source tells NY Daily News that the actress’s makeup and hair stylists, and fitters and friends had access to at least five keycards to the room.
Lupita tells police that the thief had taken place sometime around 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Tuesday, when she’d left the room. While the fashionista couldn’t file a police report – the dress was on loan from the Calvin Klein crew – the police are still checking out surveillance and any possible leads into the missing dress.
What are the plans for the stolen dress? That’s not a piece the people wear everyday. It can’t go on display. The only logical explanation; stalker.
