Charles Barkley is often outspoken and says a lot of things that raise quite a few eyebrows but he isn’t delusional when it comes to judging his basketball career.
TMZ Sports caught up with Barkley at LAX the other day and asked if he was disappointed “Selma” didn’t win Best Picture at the Oscars. No, not because of THAT … but because Chuck is from Alabama and famously paid for a lot of local kids to see the movie. Barkley said he wasn’t disappointed because there were a lot of great pictures.
The topic soon changed to Kobe Bryant’s retirement. Barkley said Bryant had a great run and will go down as one of the top ten players in the league. He was also asked if he was top ten as well to which he replied, “I’m not in there”. Chuck admits he’s been blessed to have had a great career but he’s further down the line in terms of ranking.
