There has been a New Video from Al Shabaab purportedly showing the terror group calling for an attack on Mall of America in Bloomington Minnesota. The Mall is one of three similar targets the terror group specifically names, including West Edmonton mall in Canada and the Oxford Street shopping area in London. The Video apparently shows about 6 minutes of super graphic images and the terrorists celebrating the 2013 Westgate Mall attack in Nairobi , Kenya that killed over 60 people !!

The narrator of the video has his face wrapped in a black and white kaffiyeh type scarf and wearing a camouflage jacket, spoke with a British accent and appeared to be of Somalia decent . The narrator with the scarf wrapped around his face accused Kenyan troops in Somalia of committing abuses against Somali Muslims. The Narrator Ended the video by calling on Muslim men to attack other shopping malls in western countries.
There was a picture of the Mall of America shown in the video along with GPS coordinates showing they know there way there . The Mall of America says its ramping up its security systems in response to receiving the threat .
Mall of America Said
“We will continue to monitor events with the help of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies,” Mall of America said in a statement. “As always, we take any potential threat seriously and respond appropriately. Mall of America has implemented extra security precautions, some may be noticeable to guests, and others won’t be. We will continue to follow the situation, along with law enforcement, and will remain vigilant as we always do in similar situations.”
The Department of Homeland security and FBI issued a joint statement Sunday saying that both agencies were aware of the video .
The Statement said :
“In recent months, the FBI and DHS have worked closely with our state and local public safety counterparts and members of the private sector, to include mall owners and operators, to prevent and mitigate these types of threats,”
Al Shabaab claimed responsibility of a Friday attack on a hotel in Somalia’s capital that killed off 25 people and founded 40 people, the country’s government said Saturday .Besides the loss of the key heavyweight holds in Somalia , All Shabaab , which is linked to AL Qaeda continues to stage attacks in the capital, Mogadishu and elsewhere.
Al Shabaab Controlled much of Mogadishu during the years 2007 to 2011 but was also pushed out of Somalias capital and the other major cities by African Union forces.
