Usually when we hear NFL commissioner Roger Goodell’s name, something negative follows it, but this time it’s a good story. In an effort to benefit the charity of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Goodell decided to get in the combine spirit and run the 40-yard dash.
Goodell was a good sport about it and finished the run in 5.53 seconds. Hey that’s better than expected especially considering he was fully clothed in a work clothes including pants, a button up and a sweater. Then again, I’m sure no one wants to see him in those short shorts the real athletes wear.
Kudos to him for helping out a good cause.
