The NBA has decided to do things a little differently for the 2015 All-Star Weekend set in NYC. For the first time EVER, the hype weekend will include an All-Star All Style Fashion Show Contest, produced by none other than LeBron James! Further details after the jump.
The event, titled ‘All-Style Fashion Show’ & produced by LeBron James’ Springhill Production Company, is set to air Saturday night on TNT. The models include James Harden, DeMarcus Cousins, Klay Thompson & many more! The judges will be TNT’s very own Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith and the WNBA’s Elena Delle Donne…
Along with various models and entertainers, the fashion show will consist of eight participants, including NBA All-Stars DeMarcus Cousins, James Harden and Klay Thompson. There will be three rounds, and half of the remaining participants will be eliminated after each round.
Here’s the format for the NBA All-Star fashion show, which will also include various models and entertainers:
Round 1: Dressing for the boardroom
Round 2: A night out
Round 3: Attire worn to the gameMany fans would probably like to see the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook and the Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade participate, given that each All-Star is known for wearing some crazy outfits.
The judging panel will include TNT’s Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith and the WNBA’s Elena Delle Donne.
The fashion show will be taped Friday night at New York’s Hammerstein Theater and air Saturday at 6:30 p.m. ET on TNT.
