After the stars aligned for “music’s main event” many chose to turn up the night and attend dozens of clubs and venues, however Meek Mill’s Grammy After Party Got a Little Crazy!
While an earlier report traced the “maybe-bae” Nicki Minaj and Meek at a club after the 2015 Grammys, a slew of stars headed over to Beverly Hills and the former house of Justin Bieber for an all out bash thrown by Philly’s own. (Meek had signed a week long lease for the property for an alleged $100,000). Unfortunately Meek Mill’s Grammy After Party Got a Little Crazy and police were called around 1:30AM to break up a fight which damaged the mostly glass exterior (yikes).
Meek Mill’s Grammy After Party Got a Little Crazy though for the most part it was good times for the crowd of over 1,000–which included French Montana, Tyga, Khloe Kardashian and Chris Brown. Chris immediately took to Instagram however to clear up rumors that he was in any way involved with the police presence (though they didn’t enter the house or make any arrests). Being that he’s just finished his community service and is preparing to finally head out on the Between the Sheets tour which was postponed due to his current legal issues, he’s been determined to be on his best behavior. Noting:
“It’s funny how I’m always the topic of discussion for bullsh*t…Given my prior encounters with the law I don’t conduct myself like that when I go out. So no, I wasn’t involved in any pistol whipping or fighting. There was an altercation between other people at the party and I observed. Me and my team left so we wouldn’t have anything to do with it so the police wouldn’t f*ck with me. You know how my name pops up in everything…”
Way to go, Chris…as for the humble host–though Meek Mill’s Grammy After Party Got a Little Crazy and he at first posted “Only thing I wish is I wish a #n#%ga WOULD!”–he promptly returned to Twitter to follow up with “Let me quit it I been doing good lol.” Meek did not directly address the fight but other than taking responsibility for the damages on the leased home, it seems taking the cue of Chris Brown and his freedom is best.
