After several face-to-face meetings it appeared that Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao were closer than ever to make the mega fight finally happen but alas there’s still no signed contracts. According to 50 Cent, it’s because Mayweather is “scared to death”.
Top Rank promoter Bob Arum said the two sides were still far a part on several issues but that Manny Pacquiao had agreed to many of Mayweather’s terms including date, location, drug testing and financial splits. Arum maintains that Mayweather is the one dragging his feet on the matter and holding up the fight.
To contest that, Mayweather posted a picture and a video of his meeting with Pacquiao in Miami and at the end of the video he says “before we leave the sport, we have to make this fight happen”. That’s the last update as the two have parted ways onto their other ventures and there’s still no movement towards actually making the fight happen.
Well Mayweather’s frenemy 50 Cent seems to share the same sentiment of many other people, that Floyd is afraid he’ll lose.

It’s hard to keep up on whether these two are friends or not but 50 Cent has spent a lot of time with Floyd and is also a boxing promoter.
To some it sounds ludicrous that undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather would be scared of Manny Pacquiao who suffered an infamous knockout that created legendary memes. Whatever the real holdup may be, Floyd knows this is a fight he needs to make happen before their careers are over.
