Back in 1982, the horror movie Poltergeist had children (and even some grown adults) all over so terrified of clowns that they’re probably still get nightmares to this day. To give the new generation a scare, the movie will be making a comeback to a theater near you! The movie, which is over 30+ years old, will be returning with a new cast and a more contemporary setting. The movie will be hitting theaters on July 24th in 3-D to give the crowd a more intensified scare.
“Whenever someone approaches material that’s so beloved, there’s a reflexive reaction to be worried. It’s a responsibility we take very seriously. We’re working to make a Poltergeist film that lives up to the original’s legacy,” says director Gil Kenan. Check out the creepy trailer for Poltergeist below.
