Imagine some of the dopest entertainment and graffiti artists in the world making the hottest line of…condoms? Artists, health activists and the ONE company continue to come together for creative change as it’s Music Industry Against AIDS with #LustforLife Campaign.
It’s the Music Industry Against AIDS with #LustforLife” Campaign harnessing the power of art and influence for greater good. The campaign powered by ONE looks to directly address the urban community which has some of the highest rates of HIV/AIDS, especially among young black and brown men.
ONE®’s mission is to increase condom use by creating products and programs that make it easier to learn about, talk about, and practice safer sex. We recognize that urban communities are among the hardest hit by HIV transmission, and we believe that as a community we can make a difference.
The Music Industry Against AIDS with #LustforLife Campaign is a 3 step approach, starting with world renowned graffiti artists (and any artist out there interested in affecting change) making art out of “STOP” signs ONE provides. Second, the Music Industry Against AIDS with #LustforLife Campaign is also a partnership with the Lifebeat organization, a national non-profit organization that provides HIV outreach and support to young people in urban communities, who then auctions the work. Last, artists are in fact creating fresh looks for condom wrappers which will retail and also be distributed back into communities.
Lifebeat and ONE have previously rallied dozens of music and recording artists for it’s own #MusicFightsAIDS campaign with MTV, World AIDS Day concerts and tours, featuring the likes of Eminem, Iggy Azalea, Miguel, Macklemore, Kelly Rowland, B.o.B, Kid Cudi, DJ Green Lantern, Kanye West, A$AP Ferg, Salt N’ Peppa, Flatbush Zombies and more. Music Industry Against AIDS with #LustforLife Campaign: The #LustforLife campaign was created to bring all of us—artists, health activists, community leaders, and the public—together to shine a national spotlight on this issue.
