Ramen is known to be a life saver for the broke, in school, lazy, and on the grind–but looks like it’s front and center in the spotlight on this one. In yet another case of ‘guess who’s not babysitting anymore,’ child endangerment charges have been filed against an uncle left in charge of the two 9 Year Olds Left Home Alone for Months with Nothing But Ramen Noodles.
News came circa Manchester, New Hampshire and the two 9 Year Olds Left Home Alone for Months with Nothing But Ramen Noodles are some pretty cool customers. When the situation came to surface they described their unsupervised two months as staying home most of the time and getting themselves ready for school every morning where they would have breakfast and lunch (waaaay better than most people’s kids would’ve done!).
So what happened??? Uncle Giobari Atura of the 9 Year Olds Left Home Alone for Months with Nothing But Ramen Noodles had been asked to look after them while their parents, Jerusalem and Catherine Monday took a trip to Nigeria. The trip was only supposed to last one month but passport and travel issues held them up. They had “no forms of reliable communication” in the house–no working phone, and were told to rely on neighbors if needed (wow, they did good). Uncle Ramen however maintains he stopped in to check on the kids from work, ” just not everyday.” (Yikes)…
The officer “then walked through the apartment identifying no edible food in the refrigerator and only Ramen noodles in the cabinet,” according to the affidavit.
…well someone at school called the Division for Children Youth & Families, police kicked in the door. When asked why there was no edible food in the house, the uncle pointed to cabinet–revealing a healthy stock of that Ramen (SMH…bruh). For how good the 9 Year Olds Left Home Alone for Months with Nothing But Ramen Noodles were at taking care of themselves, one only wishes they would’ve had more fun…but the important thing is they’re OK.
This is the latest in bad babysitter news since the woman trying to give away a child at Walmart (SMH). As far as these safe and responsible kids–I bet that Ramen was clutch tho!
