Houston rapper Doughbeezy recently shot and killed one of two suspects in a home-invasion after they pistol whipped him in the face. According to the Houston Police Department, the whole incident began at approximately 9:20 p.m. outside of a residence in the 2200 block of Roy near Larkin when two males approached the rapper and his family. One suspect struck Doughbeezy in the face with a pistol when the other suspect forced another family member inside the home. He was able to retrieve a handgun from his car when he fatally shot one of the suspects. The other suspect was later found hiding at a nearby Wendy’s. He was armed and dangerous, according to police.
Paul Wall later came to the scene to check on his fellow H-town compadre to make sure he was in good spirits. “I definitely see Doughbeezy as a hero for what he did for standing up for his friends, his family and his own life and protecting himself. Thank God we have the gun laws that we do that he was able to have a gun on him to protect himself and his family,” Wall said in an interview.
