Alex Ariza, Pacquiao’s former strength and conditioning coach who now works with the undefeated Mayweather, says the fight will not be happening. In fact, Floyd Mayweather confirms this point, stating that he’ll definitely be fighting on May 2nd, but not Pacquiao!
The back-and-forth has now come to an end but these two will not be getting in the ring anytime soon. As Alex Ariza & The Money Team have confirmed that the Floyd Mayweather & Manny Pacquiao mega-fight will not be taking place this Spring, May 2nd. ..it will continue to be delayed as long as Pacquiao’s promoter, Bob Arum, remains “in the way.”
Ariza is accusing Top Rank of lying to Manny Pacquiao, not just about the Mayweather deal, but several other things. If you believe Ariza, Arum is stealing money from Pacquiao. At this point people are tired of the back and forth and just want them both in the ring, but it isn’t happening any time soon.
Alex Ariza goes on a epic rant saying Bob Arum is preventing the fight from happening and even though Mayweather wants the fight, until Arum is gone, no fight will take place. Ariza says Mayweather will be fighting someone else on May 2nd.
