Rick Ross is a big Miami Heat fan, so much so that he tattooed the Heat logo on his face. Ross was so confident in his squad that he bet NBA analyst and former player Jalen Rose, $100K that the Heat would be better than the Cleveland Cavaliers this season even though LeBron James left the former for the latter. According to Rose however, Ross got nervous about the bet during the Christmas Day game where the two teams met for the first time this season. Even though the Heat beat the Cavs, Ross was reportedly not too impressed with his squad.
Seems Rick Ross is officially off the hook in his $100k NBA bet with Jalen Rose, with Jalen telling TMZ Sports he’s willing to let the whole thing go for some delicious lobster.
So what happens now? “I think he’s gonna take me to get lobster tempura at Prime One Twelve,” Jalen says.
The Heat actually aren’t far behind the Cavs though. The Cleveland Cavaliers have the 6th spot in the Eastern Conference with a 19-19 record while the Miami Heat hold the 7th spot with a 16-21 record. LeBron James is coming back off injury though so the Cavaliers might turn things around and maybe Ross made the right decision in backing out.
