Former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens isn’t making any picks for the NFL playoffs not even his former team the Dallas Cowboys against the Green Bay Packers. He said Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has to do the “impossible”, which is winning in Green Bay noting that the Packers are “no joke”. Well the Cowboys did lose but how they lost is controversial and another story. Owens however says he’s just a fan of the game not any particular team, just wants to see a good game. He also spoke on FSU quarterback Jameis Winston who has declared for the 2015 NFL Draft.
TMZ Sports caught up with Terrell Owens who says Johnny Manziel is a cautionary tale and Jameis Winston should learn from his fellow Heisman winner on what NOT to do in the NFL.
The “Celebrity Apprentice” star was out in L.A this week and told TMZ Sports he thinks Winston’s got what it takes to make it at the next level “if he keeps his nose clean.” He also noted that Winston has a good family and support system and should be okay.
“He can learn a thing or two from Johnny Manziel … not to make those mistakes,” Owens said.
Manziel and Winston had different “issues” so I’m not sure exactly what he can learn from him but Winston just needs to focus on football.
