So , A Los Angeles based artist by the name of Devon Troy Strother’s new work, heavily featuring Michael Jordan and other basketball references, is on display at the Marlborough Chelsea through Feb. 14. The gallery itself was turned into a basketball court for the exhibit, and also fitted with carpet emulating outer space.

Strother told Huffington Post that the idea originally (and pretty hilariously) came from a more literal meaning of “space jam” when he found out he had only months to prepare the show.
“It was that issue of having to deal with this huge space and what to jam into it,” he said.
