One of the illest and the realest emcees drops by Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning to discuss police brutality and the NYPD.

City officials are not feeling Uncle Murda too much. There’s plenty of thickness in the air, following the harsh video of “Hands Up,” featuring fellow rapper Maino. The video shows the two holding guns to an officer’s head with the obvious intent to kill. If that won’t piss off New York’s Finest, then the fact that Unc rented out the Nassau County Jail to shoot the visual sure will.
Remaining one of the advocates against police brutality, the “2014 Rap Up” rapper goes to Hot 97 to detail his feelings on the subject. Murda begins to fill us in on an officer shooting a kid from his neighborhood about a month ago, when Ebro suggests remorse on that officer’s behalf. “My thing is like, coming from my neighborhood, people are put in positions where it might be a mistake. Somebody might shot somebody by mistake,” he says. People who make mistakes, “wish they could take it back, but it happened…they can’t go in the court and talkin’ ’bout how remorseful they felt. They will let a cop get it away with that [being remorseful].” What else can you say except ‘TRUE’ …
