Here comes a lady who’s probably been single for a really long time, doesn’t get any male attention, had a crappy day at work (On top of being pissed she had to work on Christmas day) and decides to take it out on anyone that irritates her in the slightest bit. Apparently she was over charged for something she purchased by.. 40 cents and demanded that the 40 cents be put back into her account immediately. Now I’m not one to leave money on the table but I do have a heart and I am very understanding that working in a fast food place, mistakes happen. They’ll forget your order, give you the wrong order and sometimes over charge you but that’s totally understandable because they’re all human working there. No one is purposely trying to screw you over so whenever it happens, you just kindly approach the register, let them know and 10 times out of 10, they’ll take care of it for you. You don’t just go ape s**t on the whole staff of McDonald’s over a 40 cent refund, they already have it hard enough by working there. It was clear that this woman clearly wanted to fight someone that night. Major props to the cashier for handling the situation like a professional and diffusing it instead of escalating it because I’ve seen way too many of these kind of situations where the person at the register will actually argue back and get into a physical altercation with the customer. So the rude a** customer, I hope that 40 cents was worth ruining someone’s Christmas for.
