In San Diego California, A wanted man died after getting tasered by U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents at the San Ysidro Port of Entry on Christmas Eve.

According to a news release from CBP, the incident began at about 3 in the afternoon when the man, a 40 year old U.S. citizen, attempted to cross into the U.S. through the pedestrian walkway.CBP officers went ahead and did a background check on the 40 year old American man and determined he was wanted on an outstanding warrant and was considered armed and dangerous. He was detained and taken into a security office, where he was searched and found to be carrying heroin. Just some time before 7 0’clock at night, as officers were reviewing his criminal history and getting ready to arrest him, he jumped over a counter and attacked two of them. When he refused to follow all instructions, he was tasered
He suddenly became unresponsive and stopped breathing.

Officers attempted CPR on him until medics and San Diego police showed up, but he was pronounced dead. His name was not released.Four Border Patrol agents were moderately hurt during the whole incident. Their names also have not been released.
