Somewhere out there, there’s a thief with low standards, since he just took the instructions for going 3-11.
According to Brian Costello of the New York Post, Jets cornerback Josh Thomas tweeted out word that his playbook and passport were stolen, hoping for their return.
The Jets issue playbooks on tablet computers, so to a crook, it probably looks like something worth stealing. I’m sure they were more interested in the tablet then what was in it.
The team confirmed it was missing, but said the IT department deleted everything from the device when Thomas reported it missing Sunday night.
Wait, who do they play Sunday? That’s right, they play the New England Patriots who are known for their espionage. But uhhh the Patriots are 11-3 while the Jets are 3-11 so this joke just lost it’s luster.
