The Barbz weren’t the only ones excited about “The Pinkprint’s” leak. Rapper/producer and Love & Hip-Hop star Yung Berg tweeted his excitement for the album’s release Thursday (Dec. 11) too. With writing and production credit on Nicki Minaj’s long-awaited album, I would be excited too!
The Grammy-nominated Hit Maka, took to Instagram on Thursday (Dec. 11) to celebrate his production credits on Nicki’s upcoming album. “I worked on 4 songs on Nicki Minaj “PINKPRINT” Monday the album drops,” he wrote. “’Want Some More’ Feat. Jeremih I co-wrote hook and co-produced beat.”
In addition to “Want Some More,” the producer worked on “Favorite” (featuring Jeremih), “Buy a Heart” (featuring Meek Mill) and “Shanghai.”
Back in July, the Hit Maka sat down with Rap-Up TV to share his thoughts on Nicki’s Pinkprint and his initial involvement on her upcoming album.
“The Pinkprint is the female Blueprint,” he said. “Jay Z put out The Blueprint. I think The Pinkprint really personifies that, and not only that, I’m really involved in it.”
This is positive news for Berg, who was recently fired from Love & Hip-Hop: L.A. for an alleged domestic assault dispute with his girlfriend Masika Tucker in November, and most recently gay rumors. Good attempt at steering the people away from the drama.
